Human beings are born to connect - with nature, animals and other living beings. In other words, other life forms. Of course there will be moments that we need to work alone, recharge or simply reflect. But do you know of some people who require their "me time" a bit more than others? Or even after being engaged with a group of people or a crowd for a while, they have the compelling need to retrieve and be able to "cleanse" themselves energetically.
This could happen to a lot of "spiritual practitioners" who derive peace through silence and seclusion. There are also some who cannot be their authentic selves when they are in front of others, fearing that their real side, once exposed, will be a threat to the love that they would receive. The truth is, peace can only de derived from within and cannot be sought anywhere outside you. No changes in external circumstances will give you sustainable peace. And if authenticity is not your way of living, you can never be fully connected to yourself, let alone others. For there will always be a part of you being denied whether you are conscious of it, or not.
So if you encounter such a scenario first hand or as a witness, see whether it is a yearning for space or spaciousness. For the former is already there, and the latter is a desire that can never be satisfied.
